Refund Policy

1. Overview

At Global Earth Movers Hub, we stand behind the quality of our heavy equipment. This Refund Policy outlines the conditions under which returns, refunds, and exchanges are permitted for excavators, bulldozers, and other machinery purchased through our eBay store or directly.

Important: Due to the specialized nature of heavy equipment, our return policy differs significantly from standard consumer goods. Please read this policy carefully before initiating a return.

We aim to provide fair and transparent solutions while balancing the logistical challenges and costs associated with heavy machinery transportation.

2. Return Eligibility

To be eligible for a return, your item must meet the following criteria:

  • Timeframe: Return requests must be initiated within 7 days of equipment delivery
  • Condition: Equipment must be in the same condition as when delivered - unused, undamaged, and with all original documentation
  • Documentation: You must provide the original bill of sale, inspection report, and all manuals
  • Reason: Returns are accepted only for significant discrepancies between the equipment description and actual condition
  • Authorization: You must obtain a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number from us before returning any equipment


Special Considerations

Heavy equipment returns involve substantial logistics. We reserve the right to inspect equipment at your location before authorizing a return. Equipment showing signs of use, damage, or missing components will not be accepted for return.

3. Non-Returnable Items

Certain types of items cannot be returned:

  • Custom-configured or modified equipment
  • Equipment purchased "as-is" or through liquidation sales
  • Attachments or implements that have been installed or used
  • Equipment with more than 2 hours of operation since delivery
  • Hazardous materials or fluids (must be properly drained before return)
  • Special order items not normally stocked in inventory

Final Sale Items: Equipment listed as "final sale" in the product description is not eligible for return under any circumstances.

4. Return Process

To initiate a return for eligible equipment:

If approved, we'll issue a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number

Drain all fluids, secure attachments, and prepare for transport per our instructions

Schedule Pickup

Our logistics team will coordinate equipment pickup with a specialized carrier


Time-Sensitive Process

Once an RMA is issued, equipment must be made available for pickup within 5 business days. RMAs expire after this period.

5. Refund Process

Refunds are processed according to the following guidelines:

Refund Method: Refunds will be issued to the original payment method. For wire transfers, bank fees may be deducted from the refund amount.

Restocking Fee: A 15% restocking fee applies to all returned equipment to cover inspection, reconditioning, and remarketing costs.

6. Shipping Costs

Shipping costs for returns are handled as follows:

  • Customer Responsibility: Buyer is responsible for all return shipping costs
  • Carrier Selection: Equipment must be returned using our authorized heavy transport carriers
  • Cost Estimate: Return shipping costs typically range from $1,500 to $5,000 depending on distance and equipment size
  • Payment: Shipping costs must be prepaid before pickup
  • Insurance: Equipment must be insured during return transit at full replacement value

Transport Requirements

Equipment must be properly secured and prepared for transport according to DOT regulations. Any damage during return transit due to improper preparation will be the customer's responsibility.

7. Damaged or Defective Equipment

If your equipment arrives damaged or with manufacturing defects:

  • Immediate Notification: Report damage within 24 hours of delivery
  • Documentation: Provide photos/video of damage and packaging
  • Options: We will either repair the equipment at your site, replace components, or authorize a return with waived restocking fee
  • Transport Damage: For carrier-caused damage, we will file the freight claim on your behalf

Important: Equipment must not be operated if damaged or defective. Operating damaged equipment voids all warranty and return eligibility.

8. Warranty Claims

Separate from our return policy, most equipment comes with manufacturer warranties:

  • Coverage: Varies by manufacturer and equipment type (typically 3-12 months)
  • Process: Contact us to initiate a warranty claim - we will coordinate with the manufacturer
  • Resolution: Most warranty issues are resolved through parts replacement or technician dispatch
  • Exclusions: Normal wear, abuse, lack of maintenance, and attachments are not covered

Warranty claims do not entitle customers to full refunds - they provide repair or replacement solutions.
